Welcome back to another exciting semester at KIS! Student Council already has many plans for the upcoming months, but first, here are a few updates:
- Cubbies – Yes, we know, you’re probably sick and tired of hearing about the cubbies again, but due to a few issues with them, there has been a new rule instilled. Bags which are left in the cubbies after 4:30 PM will be collected and put in front of Mr. Mike’s office. Any clothing (which is NOT in a bag) will be taken away by Mr. Chris to use as Performing Arts props (unless, of course, they are reclaimed).
- Clothing Drive – A new clothing drive has been organised by Grade 7 for their residential trip. House points will be awarded accordingly: 1 point for a pair of socks, 2 points for shoes, and 3 points for a jacket. The donation boxes have been placed in the atrium. This is a great opportunity to earn house points in addition to making a difference in the world.
- Suggestions & Feedback – Student Council values your suggestions and feedback, so please don’t hesitate to contact us via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or even in person!
- Writing Competition: don’t forget that we are hosting a Creative Writing Competition with the theme “LOVE”. Check out the poster, and click on this post for more details!
