This week, KIS Today is going to be interviewing all the new teachers at KIS. Today I interviewed the jocund Mr. Jason and got to know him a little better. Here’s what he had to say:
1. Where are you from?
I’m from Bristol, England.
2. What did you do before becoming a teacher here at KIS?
I used to teach at a school in the Netherlands.
3. What do you do for fun/what are your hobbies?
Well, I like playing volleyball and I’m trying to look for a team I could join here. I also like reading and watching movies.
4. Why did you choose KIS?
I chose KIS because it was a school with a good reputation, I’ve spoken to a few friends/acquaintances who have heard/worked here and loved it and I also just love Thailand.
5. What have you enjoyed most about working here?
It’s been fun meeting my classes and getting to know the students as well as getting to know my way around the city.
6. What was/are your first impression(s)?
My first impressions were that I would have lots of fun teaching here and that the students here were very hard working and determined.
7. What do you most look forward to?
I’d really like to explore the region throughout the holidays.
I hope you found this article interesting and come back tomorrow for an interview with Ms. Gaby!
