Introducing Faa – the new G11 SC representative! Due to Emily Br.’s position as vice-president, the constitution states that another representative must be elected. Here is what Faa had to say about being on the council:

“Joining student council was something I had always wanted. I feel very honored that my classmates had trusted me to represent them for the voice of Grade 11.

I have been in KIS for over 10 years. I have been proud to be a member of the school, and witnessed many joyful successes and tough situations we’ve been through. As part of growing up here, I have seen how much the school has changed over the past years: from just a small school, to a greatly successful school with a friendly community.

Since my classmates have trusted me to represent the class in the KIS Student Council, I promise that I will perform my best to the extent of my capabilities. I will dedicate my time and effort to complete the tasks I am responsible for. Along with every other member of the Student Council, I will strive to support the school to even greater achievement and try my best to solve the problems that may arise among the students to maintain a positive unity.

I love my classmates as one big family. I will devote myself to fulfil the tasks as a representative of my class. I am most grateful to them for seeing potential in me and having entrusted me with this task. I will make sure I do my best, as one of G11’s Student Council reps of 2016-17.”

Student Council is excited to welcome a new member to the team.
