This Thursday, we will be kicking off the process for electing the Student Council representatives for the academic year 2017-2018. The elections happen in three steps:

Nominations: everyone will get to nominate a classmate of their choice (or themselves, if they wish to run) for Student Council.

Vetting and consideration: a panel of teachers will vet the nominees to ensure they have no disciplinary issues, and then nominees will be asked whether they wish to run. A final list of candidates will then be posted.

Elections: each class will vote for their male and female representatives for the next academic year.

The timeline for the elections this year will be as follows:

March 2nd (Note, some grade levels may need to be rescheduled ): Nominations

March 16th: List of candidates announced

March 23rd: Elections
