Here is a poem written by Vivi, g7:
“Untitled”
Resting on top of a tall, icy mountain
Retreated inside a locked wooden shed
Is a man who is peacefully rocking
On his chair, with a book in hand
Knowing he is not part of the life
He knew before
A cup of coffee on the arm of the chair
He looks down at the warm, comforting drink
And sees a single snowy sugar cube
Dancing in the tar black ocean that is the cup
And resists, knowing he is not part of the life
He knew before
The man gazes outside the window
And there, finds a single shining star
Luminously resting in
The endless black of night
And he thinks to himself
That this was not the life
He knew before
The man then gives a low chuckle
Thinking how to tell the Lord
He didn’t want to go back, he knew
To the life he knew before
Yes, the man understood the signs
He noticed them all the time
But the last thing he desired
Was the life he knew before
