This week is Environmental Week! To raise awareness about the importance of our planet, we have organised events – in some of which you can actually win house points!
On Wednesday (April 26th), there will be a house competition called “Water Bottle Wednesday”. Why? Well, one reason is that approximately 1500 plastic bottles are thrown out into the sea EVERY SECOND. So what do you have to do to participate? That’s easy. Ditch plastic bottles and bring in a reusable water bottle from home. Student Council will count the number of students who brought water bottles. The house points will be awarded as follows:
- First Place – 40 points
- Second Place – 30 points
- Third Place – 20 points
- Fourth Place – 10 points
Thursday is “Toys and Threads” in which clothes and toys will be collected for Second Chance Bangkok. There will be donation bins out in the atrium. Lastly, there will be a Casual Friday with the theme “Earth Day and Furry Friday”. Wear blue, green, or be creative and dress up as an animal. This will cost the usual 20 Baht and all proceeds will go to WFFT.
