A Chinese New Year film and photo contest accepts entries from all around the world every year. Here’s a little snippet from their website:
Regardless of whether you are a professional or an amateur, who you are or where you are from, you are welcome to send us short films and/or photos of memorable moments from Chinese New Year celebrations.
Just in case you didn’t know – Chinese New Year, or the Spring Festival, is one of the most important traditional festivals in East Asia! Celebrations happen all over the world including fireworks, temple fairs, performances and feasts.
So all you need to do to enter is take some original photos or create a short film (no more than 30 minutes long) about Chinese New Year celebrations. The photos and films can be taken right here in Thailand or anywhere else you might be going during this time.
If you need an incentive to join then you’ll be excited to hear that the winners for both categories (film and photography) earn some pretty brilliant prizes ranging from around 5000 – 100,000 baht.
The deadline is the 15th of March, 2018 so get cracking!
