Welcome back to another KIS Spotlight! Today, you will find out more about our new MYP science teacher, Mr. Richard!

First and foremost, what subjects do you teach, and to whom?

I am a Science teacher with a background in Physics.  I currently teach G6,7 and 8

Next, what would you like or want all of us to know about yourself?

I love football, music, traveling, motorbikes, and cooking.

Any hobbies, passions, interests that you like to indulge in?

I like to play guitar and enjoy playing football and tennis.  

Have you enjoyed your time at KIS so far? How so?

I have really enjoyed my time in KIS so far. I have found the school very welcoming and I have been enjoying teaching the MYP course.

If you are new to Thailand, please tell us about how you feel being here?

I have lived here for the past 5 years

What do you love most about the subject(s) that you’re currently teaching? Have they always been of interest to you?

Enjoy the fact I can try to get students to become more interested in Science. I have always been interested in how things work and I would like the students I teach to become curious and question the way the world works.

Lastly, would you like to impart any advice for students in the MYP or DP, or just all of us in general?

Have fun at school, be kind to each other, and get involved in extra curricular activities.
