Wallows – Are you Bored Yet?

Artist: Wallows and Clairo

Album: (Single from their debut album) Nothing Happens

Genre: Indie Rock

The collaboration we never knew we needed – Wallows and Clairo (played by the one and only Noah Centineo). This song can so quickly and has quickly become one of the most iconic indie anthems with the combincation of the two singers soft and airy voices. The some what upbeat and dance-able song is perfectly paired with the some what dreamy imagery from the music video (which also shocked many in having CLAY JENSON!!??!?!).

Rating: 5/7

Ariana Grande – break up with your girlfriend, i’m bored

Artist: Ariana Grande

Album: Thank U, Next

Genre: pop

After dropping 7 Rings and thank u, next, Ariana Grande topped off her legendary  line of music videos with break up with your girlfriend, i’m bored. Without being much of an Ariana Grande fan/stan, I can confidently say that this is one of the best songs from her album without being biased. The tracklist on her album consisted of many different moods, and this track in particular finished the album with an anthem for all girls and boys to sing anytime and anywhere.

Rating: 6/7

Gus Dapperton – My Favorite Fish

Artist: Gus Dapperton

Album: My Favorite Fish (Single)

Genre: pop

A heartfelt song that echoes through your head wherever you are, Gus Dapperton singing and dancing to My Favorite Fish may be the next best thing you will ever see/hear. The song is catchy in a way that doesn’t make you completely annoyed, it is artistic but not unbearably encrypted, the song makes me want to go get a fish and sing it this song.

Rating: 6/7
