Hi Everyone! Hope you are all having a great week so far.

So I’m sure some of you might be familiar with ‘career talk’ but for the new students essentially career talk is a meeting of some sort where different guests speakers from all kinds of professions come and talk about their experiences in their fields, how work life is and just giving us advice in general.

You don’t have to be a DP student to attend, in fact, everyone in the MYP can attend this meeting including your parents! I highly recommend it because I personally have been to a couple of them and I got the chance to learn about things that have helped me as a DP student.

Dr Shanell emailed everyone a google sign up sheet or you can scan the bar code on the flyer if you would like to attend. It will be held on Monday, September 16th from 3 – 4 pm in D124 (the room under the jumbo staircase). The guest speaker has a background in Policy & Research. So if you are interested in policy reform, being a change agent, or just learning more about the topic then please do join. If you have any questions you’re welcome to email Dr Shanell about it 🙂
