Black History Month is celebrated from Februray 1st to this upcoming March 1st. BHM was recognized in 1976 in order to “seize the opportunity to honor the too-often neglected accomplishments of people of African descent in every area of endeavor throughout our history.” In order to remember and celebrate black culure, the KIS Today team came up with a playlist composed of 73 songs and around 70 different artists. Each of these songs were carefully selected as they are each a representation of all genres contained in the rich culture of black music.
The playlist is available on Spotify under the name “KIS Today’s Bhm” or with the link as followed:
On behalf of the KIS Today team, we hope you enjoy the playlist and that hopefully you’ll discover something new.
