A Wai Khru ceremony (also referred to National Teacher’s Day) is held annually at KIS. This is the celebration where the students pay respect to their teachers in order to thank them for teaching them well, and also to obtain merit and their blessings for good fortune and success in the future. Offerings such as Dok Ma Khue (eggplant flower), Ya Praek presented to teachers during the ritual.
This celebration will be taking place on Thursday 23rd of January, during Period 3 in the auditorium.
